What we collect
This site does not require accounts, logins, or personal information to read articles. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Analytics
Google Analytics is not currently enabled on this site. If it is enabled in the future, this policy will be updated and we will name the provider.
Separately, this site keeps its own aggregate record of activity on its own server. Each entry can include the page path, the event (for example a share or a poll vote), the page you first arrived on, the domain of the referring site, any utm_source, utm_medium or utm_campaign values in the link you followed, a broad device class (mobile, tablet or desktop), and a random session identifier held only for the current browser tab. It does not include your name, your email address, your IP address, your browser's user-agent string, or the full referring URL.
Advertising
We do not run behavioural advertising or sell personal data. If we ever display ads, they will be contextual (based on page content, not your profile) unless you consent to personalised ads.
Affiliate links
Some travel pages may eventually include affiliate links. Clicking those links may set cookies by the affiliate provider. We do not receive personal data about you from those providers beyond aggregated commission reporting.
